But how does it work?

What is The Happy Flavor...

Maybe you've heard it before, maybe it's even been said to you before, but I was so tired of trying other people's cookies and being unimpressed. I was like, "They sure are pretty but where'd the flavor go?"

I took my tried and true (it took me years and years to develop) recipe and went to work figuring out the science behind why some flavors disappear when baking.

In short

It all has to do with basic baking science and chemicals. Did you know the size/components that make up each molecule in our food's ingredients determine the temperature the molecules bake out? When they bake out at a lower temperature than our oven is set to, we never get to taste them at their full capacity or even at all. Can you imagine paying for ingredients you don't even taste?

So with a little more science and some (okay a lot) of trial and error, we were able to find natural ways to allow those flavors to stay in our baked goods up to 450. It has a little to do with oils vs water and breaking down our chemical compounds and encapsulating them (and protecting them) with magic.

So what flavor is it?

The Happy Flavor isn't necessarily a specific flavor by itself like a normal emulsion or oil flavoring is (although it is really tasty by itself, you should try it) but it grabs onto what flavors you are currently using in your recipe (maybe that's vanilla or sugar or maybe you are going for more adventurous like strawberry, lemon, caramel, etc) and it expands and enhances those flavors naturally.

How is this different than flavor oils or emulsions?

You could technically call this an emulsion, but it's so much more. Not only does it help the flavors in your baked goods not bake out, The Happy Flavor takes on whatever flavor is already in your baked goods.
